Live on the Green

Live on the Green is one of Nashville’s most popular annual music festivals, which takes place over the course of four weeks. LOTG’s dates include three Thursday night shows and one full three-day music festival, for a total of six nights of live music. Head to Public Square Park in Downtown Nashville RV Park for this free, all ages, and public event.

Nashville Sounds Games
August 13-19, August 31-September 3
The Nashville Sounds, Nashville’s long-time Minor League Baseball team, ends its season in September. Watch the game, play put-put golf, and enjoy a beverage at The Band Box, the stadium’s popular outdoor bar.

Art Deco Affair
August 18
Frist Art Museum hosts it’s Art Deco Affair every summer. The fundraiser pays homage to the 1930s art deco building where the Frist Art Museum is located. Attendees can expect drinks, light bites, exclusive access to the galleries, and entertainment. Guests are encouraged to dress in 1930s-inspired attire.

Pedals & Pints
August 26
The annual Pedals and Pints, a Sunday Funday event featuring day drinking on a pedal tavern, is on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 11:00am to 5:00pm. This year’s theme is “Spring Break ’99.” Dress in your best 90s-inspired spring break attire and accessories. Each pedal tavern ride lasts a couple hours, then the party resumes at the official Pedals & Pints after party hosted by City Tap House.

September Sundown

September Sundown is a new music series from Musicians Corner taking place every Thursday during September. Local musicians, food trucks, Kidsville, Musicians Corner Pub, and vendors are just a handful of things to expect at this free, family-friendly event.

Tennessee State Fair
September 7-16
The Tennessee State Fair takes place at the Fairgrounds Nashville RV Park every year. Get ready for rides, ice-cream-eating contests, cornhole, karaoke, and more. There’s something for everyone. Cotton candy and rides await!

OUTLOUD Music Festival

OUTLOUD Music Festival, a one-day music-centric event, features live music, Nashville’s top food trucks, and other outloud activities. The event takes place on Church Street between 15th and 16th Avenue North in Midtown. All ages are welcome!

Cumberland River Dragon Boat Festival
September 8
The annual Cumberland River Dragon Boat Festival is an outdoor event on the Cumberland River at Riverfront Park. Dozens of decorated boats will race while spectators cheer, enjoy cultural performances, and visit on-site vendors. The event benefits the Cumberland River Compact.

Music City Food + Wine Festival
September 14-16
If you haven’t been to Music City Food & Wine Festival, you should consider attending this year. The event features a weekend-long experience full of demonstrations, panels, sipping on fine drinks, and tasting amazing food. The festival not only features top chefs and restaurants, but also includes Harvest Night, which is an unforgettable evening of live music. This is one of the most celebrated food and drink events of the year.

Sunset Safari

Nashville Zoo’s Sunset Safari unities wildlife and nightlife. It’s one of the best annual parties for adults, featuring food and drinks from top restaurants, live entertainment, and animal hosts. Dress in your best safari chic attire!

Park(ing) Day
September 21
Nashville participates in Park(ing) Day each year, turning 30+ metered parking spaces into little public parks. These temporary parks are located throughout downtown Nashville, the Gulch, Germantown, and East Nashville. Nashvillians are encouraged to visit and relax in the elaborate, creative mini parks.

Nashville Brew Festival

Closing out the very last day of summer is the annual Nashville Brew Festival at First Tennessee Park. There will be 50 breweries, 150 beers, food trucks, lawn games, and music. Beer lovers unite and shutdown summer right.
